Roberto Navarro started with a small TV program, called "El destape". He also has a studios named "La Ñata". The governments of Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner paid him $14,749,814.49 (both to his studios and specifically to him) in the concept of advertisments. He is the journalist with the highest amount paid for that purpose. He promotes Kirchnerite propaganda, and is a vocal critic of Mauricio Macri, rival of Kirchnerism in the 2015 elections.〔 He announced, during the broadcast of the 2015 presidential elections, that Daniel Scioli had won by a wide margin and became the president of Argentina without a ballotage, and that Aníbal Fernández had been elected governor of the Buenos Aires Province.
